Itinerary

Day 1

AREQUIPA - ARRIVAL

Arrival to the city of Arequipa. Rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize.

Day 2

AREQUIPA - CHIVAY

Departure to the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world. The tour crosses the National Reserve of Salinas and Aguada Blanca, home of vicuñas, flamingos and other Andean birds. We visit the wetlands of Tocra, the crater of the Chucura volcano and the viewpoint of the Volcanoes, the highest point of the route. Arrival in Chivay and lunch. In the afternoon time to enjoy the thermal baths of La Calera. Dinner accompanied by a folkloric show.

Day 3

CHIVAY - CRUZ DEL CONDOR - CHIVAY - AREQUIPA

Visit to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, the best place to observe the majestic flight of the Andean condor and the magnitude of the canyon. On the way back we will stop in the picturesque villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque, with colonial churches and viewpoints. Lunch in Chivay and return trip to Arequipa.

Day 4

AREQUIPA - DEPARTURE

Transfer to the airport to board the return flight.
