Itinerary
Reception at the airport to visit the center of Iquitos for a panoramic tour. Then transfer to the port of Nauta. Boarding and presentation of the crew. Dinner.
We will start early in the morning for bird watching along the Amazon River. We will continue our excursion along the Yanayacu Yapacana River, a tributary of the Amazon River in search of wildlife. In the afternoon wildlife excursion along the black waters of the Nauta Caño River.
We begin with the entrance to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve by navigating along the Yanayacu-Pucate River. Here we will fish and see other exotic animals.
We will visit an Amazonian community to interact with the locals. After lunch we will hike through the Fundo Casual, a forest full of flora and fauna of the area.
Visit the local market to learn about the diversity of products of the Peruvian Amazon. On the way to the airport we will visit the Manatee Rescue Center.
