Itinerary
Arrival to the imperial city of Cusco. Transfer to the chosen hotel. We recommend you to rest and acclimatize in the morning. In the afternoon, enjoy the tour of the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), followed by a visit to the archaeological complexes of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. A fascinating experience between history, culture and Andean landscapes. Overnight in Cusco.
Excursion to the Sacred Valley with stops in Pisac, Ccoya, Lamay, Calca and Urubamba. Buffet lunch included. In the afternoon, visit to Ollantaytambo and return to Cusco via Chinchero. Overnight in Cusco.
Travel by train for an hour and a half from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes and then ascend by bus to Machu Picchu. During the guided tour, you will discover the mysteries of its architecture and the legacy left by the Inca civilization. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and then take the train back to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.
Early departure to Cusipata for breakfast. From Wasipata, we will start a 1h40 walk to the viewpoint of Vinicunca (5100 m a.s.l.), famous for its natural colors. After the descent, lunch in Cusipata and return to Cusco in the afternoon. Overnight in Cusco.
Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Puerto Maldonado. Reception and transfer to the lodge. Guided walk through the jungle and shiringuero camp: 2 hour tour of the lodge reserve, identifying tropical flora, medicinal trees and visiting a replica of a latex (rubber) extraction camp.

Early in the morning, departure to the parrot clay lick. You will observe between 3 to 5 species of parrots. At mid-morning, transfer by boat back to Puerto Maldonado. Guided visit to the local market to learn about typical products of the region and the daily life of its inhabitants.
Then, transfer to the airport to take the return flight.
